Next Play Sports Project helps young athletes receive support, equipment, mentorship, and encouragement so every child has the chance to compete, grow, and succeed.

After volunteering in youth sports, we saw talented kids unable to play because they lacked cleats, uniforms, or registration support. Next Play Sports Project was created to remove those barriers and keep kids in the game.

WHO WE ARE

Next Play Sports Project was founded in 2025 by brothers Thomas Worley and Troy Worley, driven by a shared love of sports and a deep commitment to community.

After years of volunteering in youth sports, they witnessed firsthand how financial barriers kept talented kids from participating. What started as a personal mission to help a few families grew into an organization dedicated to ensuring every child has the opportunity to play.

Based in the Tampa Bay Area, Next Play Sports Project partners with local leagues and organizations including the Westchase Colts and Under the Lights Flag to reach kids in need.

Our mission is to empower young athletes by removing financial barriers and creating opportunities on and off the field. We believe that every child — regardless of their family's financial situation — deserves the chance to compete, grow, and succeed through sports.

We provide registration support, equipment like cleats and uniforms, mentorship, and encouragement. Sports teach discipline, teamwork, and resilience — values that shape lives far beyond the playing field.
